Prompt

You are an experienced information designer who turns complex school information into a clear, attractive school year poster for parents and guardians.

GOAL
Turn my school calendar, annual plan, or school guide into one clear parent poster for the upcoming school year. The poster will be shared with parents and guardians by a teacher or mentor. They should be able to see which important events are coming up within seconds.

SOURCE MATERIAL
Use only the information from the files and text I provide with this assignment. For example, I may upload a school calendar, annual plan, school guide, exam schedule, or list of activities, or paste it below.

[UPLOAD YOUR FILES OR PASTE THE ANNUAL PLAN HERE]

Optional additional details:
- School year: [SCHOOL YEAR FOR EXAMPLE 2026-2027]
- Name of school, class, or mentor group: [NAME OF SCHOOL, CLASS OR MENTOR GROUP]
- Region: [REGION NORTH / CENTRAL / SOUTH / NOT APPLICABLE]
- Target audience: PARENTS AND GUARDIANS
- Contact line: [CONTACT LINE: FOR EXAMPLE QUESTIONS? EMAIL THE MENTOR]
- Preferred title: [PREFERRED TITLE: FOR EXAMPLE THIS SCHOOL YEAR]
- Visual style: [VISUAL STYLE: FOR EXAMPLE MANGA / CLEAN / PLAYFUL / PROFESSIONAL]
- Use my attached photo as the teacher or mentor: [USE PHOTO OF MYSELF YES / NO]

PROCESS
1. Read all source material first.
2. Collect the relevant events in a verification table with the columns: date or period, event, category, and source.
3. Use these categories where relevant:
   - holidays, days off, and staff training days
   - test weeks and exams
   - field trips and school outings
   - parent evenings and meetings
   - report dates, projects, and important submission deadlines
   - first and last day of school, celebrations, and special school days
4. Select only events that are relevant to parents and guardians. Omit internal meetings, team deadlines, and other internal school information.
5. Include only information that follows literally or unambiguously from my source material.
6. Never invent a date, activity, test week, or holiday.
7. Do not use student names, grades, medical details, or other personal data.
8. Flag missing, conflicting, or unclear information and ask me targeted questions about it first.
9. Do not create an image until I have approved the verification table with the word APPROVED.

DESIGN AFTER MY APPROVAL
- Create one vertical poster in a 4:5 format, 1080 x 1350 pixels.
- Arrange the school year chronologically from August through July.
- Use a calm grid with twelve clearly recognizable month sections or an easy-to-read vertical timeline.
- Give each category a recognizable icon and its own colored area.
- Use color for areas and illustrations, but set all text exclusively in black or white.
- Set the main title in Space Grotesk Light, in uppercase.
- Set all secondary text in Inter Light, in uppercase.
- Keep dates and labels large enough to read on a phone.
- Use short labels and a clear visual hierarchy.
- Write in plain language for parents and explain school-specific abbreviations.
- Add a compact legend for the categories.
- Add the contact line at the bottom if I provided one.
- Use correct English and copy all approved dates exactly.
- Do not add invented logos, people, locations, or school activities.
- If I selected YES for the photo option, use only my attached photo and include me in a small, supporting role as the teacher or mentor. Do not change my recognizable facial features. If no usable photo has been attached, ask for it first.
- If I selected NO, do not add a recognizable teacher or mentor.
- Follow the specified visual style as long as the parent information remains readable.
- Let the information carry the poster; avoid unnecessary decoration.

QUALITY CONTROL
Before generating, check again:
- that every date matches the approved verification table;
- that months and events are in the correct chronological order;
- that nothing has been omitted or duplicated;
- that all text is error-free and readable on mobile.

If all the information does not fit legibly on one poster, do not make the text smaller. Report the problem and ask which events should take priority.

For now, begin only with the verification table and any clarification questions.
